Welcome to Millers Dale
Once the largest station on the Midland Line between London and Manchester, this area was a thriving transport hub for passengers, agriculture and the limestone industry before closing in 1968. The railway station’s industrial past lives on, with the local route and viaducts being turned into the famous Monsal Trail for walkers/cyclists. Millers Dale car park is located at the heart of this history for visitors looking to start or end the trail.

Millers Dale Car Park Cafe
Millers Dale car park is one of a few places on the Monsal Trail where you can stop for a bite to eat. This is only a small cafe called The Refreshment Room with a takeaway menu and benches outside. The best cafe with indoor seating and delicious food is Hassop Station near Bakewell but that’s on the other end of the route. Prices are expensive but the location is very convenient with not much else in the area besides Angler’s Rest pub. While the menu is subject to change, most of the items below should be available.
